Yannick MALONG is currently a Senior Lecturer with the Department of Computer Engineering and Telecommunications, National Higher Polytechnic School of Douala, and a member of the Computer Engineering, Data Science, and Artificial Intelligence Laboratory. He is also a member of the Intelligent and Sustainable Decision-Making (ISDM) research team. His research interests include cybersecurity, artificial intelligence, quality of service, optimization techniques, graph theory, mobile communications, network security, big data architecture, and cloud computing. He is also actively engaged in the African AI community, notably through initiatives such as IndabaX Cameroon, where he contributes to building research capacity and fostering collaboration across the continent. Through his teaching, research, and mentorship of Master’s and PhD students, he bridges science, policy, and industry, advancing digital transformation and sustainable development in Africa.
